We decided to call it quits and follow our dreams...

I know what you're thinking...Who the heck starts a travel blog in the middle of a global pandemic?!

Welp that would be me. And my fiancé Sam. Hi, how are ya?

My question in return though is "Why not?"

Here we are, almost 2022. A new year! 2021 was an experience. We did a lot; we learned a lot.

Sam and I finally tied the knot after postponement due to COVID, we watched 2 of our best friends get married, traveled a bit, and made some beautiful memories. We experienced heartbreak and suffered alongside our neighbors when things in our country got dark. We learned let go of the small things - which is sometimes easier said than done. We learned so much about what makes us happy and decided to let go of fear that was holding us back and live the life we want.

Sam and I worked jobs that paid the bills and also allowed us to live comfortably. We had a nice apartment and took trips when we could. However, we rarely saw each other and we didn't wake up feeling passion for our lives.

We did not have a bad life but it was scary to think this was it for us. With that thought, we decided (and are privileged enough) to say we are ready for something bigger. So, we quit our jobs and are planning to take 2 months to explore, and marvel, and taste, and learn about ourselves, cultures, language and life.

Our adventure begins in the New Year starting off in England, then The Netherlands, then France, Italy, Spain and finally Ireland.

We realize how fortunate we are to be able to do this. I just hope our journey can inspire someone to just go for it, follow your dreams, and to live passionately, whatever that means to you. We have this one life, make it count. Make it beautiful.
